Mission Trips

While mission trips are very tiring, physically and mentally, they are so much fun.  A special part of the fun is returning to places you have been several times before and renewing friendships from previous years.

Haiti holds a special place in Will's heart.  He leaves today for his 3rd trip to Mare Rouge, Haiti.  He is going with a group from our church in Mississippi.  His bags are loaded down with gifts for his buddies down there and the dear lady who hosts them for a week.  Can't wait to hear all about his adventures and for him to see & relate to us how the Lord worked during the time there.

James drove down to the airport with us and dropped Will and I off at the door.  From when we got out of the car, checked in, and he got completely through security it was about 10 minutes ~ that's nothing compared to our other international flights.  I was really expecting security to take a couple of hours cause there is usually a long line ~ I am very thankful that was not the case today.  I could clearly see him go through the checkpoints, so I knew when he got through.

Thankful for ~
easy check in and security clearance
Will being included on this trip
James getting up and riding with me

Welcome to the farm ~ we are a blended family with 7 children (3 are married), 4 grandsons, 5 dogs, 3 rabbits, and 15 chickens living on 3 acres in Georgia. I love crafting, sewing, cooking & canning, recipes of all kinds, reading, playing with my little buddies, family time, travel, pinterest and most of all the Lord.
