I am so ready for it to be the weekend!
This has been a busy week & Greg has been out of town since Sunday afternoon.
Our church is having its annual garage sale to help the Haiti Mission Team ~ so we've helped with it.
Amy's had dance 3 days this week.
Amy and Will have had Bible Drill 3 days/nights this week.
Will had a job interview yesterday (at a grocery store ~ we should find out next week if he got it)
And Monday morning I picked up 2 cases = 80 pounds of chicken from Zaycon.
I've can 21 quarts of chicken + 8 pints + cut up and froze 2 bags of tenders to use with the French's onions recipe (recipe on their website, its good) + got tired of canning and froze 14 chicken breasts.
We bought a flat of strawberries from the Farmers Market over the weekend & they had to be cleaned, cooked and frozen ~ making the jelly later!
The good news ~~~~~
Greg is on his way home!
The chicken is done!
The children & youth teams all passed the associational drill & are going to the State Drill next week (bad news...check in process was horrible and we waited over 2 hours to even compete)
Just got a call that we aren't working on garage sale stuff today until 1 instead of 9am.
And the weekend is almost here!

Welcome to the farm ~ we are a blended family with 7 children (3 are married), 4 grandsons, 5 dogs, 3 rabbits, and 15 chickens living on 3 acres in Georgia. I love crafting, sewing, cooking & canning, recipes of all kinds, reading, playing with my little buddies, family time, travel, pinterest and most of all the Lord.
