Getting Ready for Robert

Its almost Grandma time!
Official due date for our first grandchild is July 3 !

Here are some projects I've been working on....

burp cloths

Bibs

Got Greg this for Fathers Day!

The burp cloths measure 12 x 17, and they are flannel front and back.  I had the most fun with all the trims and got to use up some of my stash!  The big bib pattern has been "in our family" for about 28 years.  My mom made bibs for all the grandchildren and now I am going to do the same.  I still have one of the original bibs ~ a little tattered, very worn, and remarkably unstained!  It was my pattern for these.  The day after Thanksgiving, JoAnns marks all their flannel to $1.49, so thats when we stocked up.  I found some online and mom bought me some in the store.  Of course, I didn't know if #1 was a boy or girl, so I bought both ~ the pink flannel is waiting for the first granddaughter!

  1. Check the date of Robert's expected due date, it looks like 31 instead of 3. Mom

  2. Maybe Allen & Jennifer can provide you with the baby girl. Katie's gonna have her hands full.

  4. We are excited to see who the Lord will place in each family. Every grandchild will be a blessing! I fully expect Bryant and Katie to be blessed with multiple children in the Lords timing.

Welcome to the farm ~ we are a blended family with 7 children (3 are married), 4 grandsons, 5 dogs, 3 rabbits, and 15 chickens living on 3 acres in Georgia. I love crafting, sewing, cooking & canning, recipes of all kinds, reading, playing with my little buddies, family time, travel, pinterest and most of all the Lord.
