Glimpses into "Amy Land"

Sometimes Amy Land is a scary place.
Tonight, Amy Land was...well, it defies description!
Here are tonights ponderings...

Do vegans eat animal crackers?

Do people who are afraid of needles ~ sew?

Do people who don't believe in God buy their children a toy Noah's Ark?

I wonder if anyone has ever dipped their chickens feet in different colors of paint and let them walk on paper and make a painting?

This glimpse of Amy Land all occured in about 15 minutes.
She threatened us with her vast knowledge of animal facts that she assured me "I didn't want to know."

Amy Land is always creative, imaginative and thought provoking!
And yes, these questions lend a whole new aspect to homeschooling!

Need I mention that she is my most creative child?

Maybe she shouldn't have any coca cola at night!

  2. Tell Amy - Yes about the chicken paintings. There is a woman in my neighborhood who has done it and auctioned the painting for charity.
It looked sort of like fireworks. :-)

  4. I read Christian blogs because I find useful tips on cooking/cleaning,organizing etc. However, I rarely comment as I have no wish to intrude/be rude/be disrespectful.

Still, as an atheist I can answer one question of Amy's:
People who do not believe in God do not buy their children a toy Noah's ark. Although, I did have many toy animals when I was a child (the toys were part of a toy zoo).

As a vegan I can answer another question: I do not eat animal crackers as I have never found any that did not contain some animal products. I do however eat cookies that are free of animal products (although I do prefer fruit for dessert).

As someone who paints as a hobby I can answer another question: I have not dipped a chicken's feet in paint - but I have dipped my dog's feet in paint and then I had him run across a big canvas - It turned out to be a fun painting for my house.

  5. I want to see a video of her explaining to the chickens that they need to stay on the paper and than the results......it would probably go viral (the People for the Eating of Tasty Animals would love it!) Would she sign my computer? See ya in a week, Love, Brenda

  7. Dear non-believing vegetable eating painted puppy paws friend:

Thanks for stopping by and reading our blog. We sincerely hope you will come back and visit with us some more. Our prayer is for you to come to know Christ in a real loving way. We are all sinners, liars, thieves, blaspheming, adulterers. Just to name a few. But the good news is that knowing that about us, Jesus came to cover the penalty of our sins by dieing on a cross in our place anyway. God is Holy. There is no sin about Him. Jesus lived a perfect life, and gave that life as a blood sacrifice to settle the sin account for those who believe in Him and repent of their sins. The first message from Jesus in the gospel of Mark is "Repent and believe, for the Kingdom of God is at hand." Repent means to turn away from your sins. That is the good news we want to share with you.

Again, thanks for visiting our blog. Have a great day.

    Donna and Greg.
