We went to Ikea today in Atlanta ~ oh my....what an awesome store!
My son described it as a 2 story Sams club....I would further describe it as 2 Sams on the bottom floor topped by 2 more Sams. That place is huge!
We happily wandered through bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms, closets, gadgets & gizmos. And we brought back some goodies! And their new color, many page catalog! I think I am ready to gut our kitchen and design my own ~~~~~ now I just need the money, the time, and the manpower!
I am sure this won't be our only trip!

Welcome to the farm ~ we are a blended family with 7 children (3 are married), 4 grandsons, 5 dogs, 3 rabbits, and 15 chickens living on 3 acres in Georgia. I love crafting, sewing, cooking & canning, recipes of all kinds, reading, playing with my little buddies, family time, travel, pinterest and most of all the Lord.

I have never been to a Ikea store. But I have heard they are amazing.
ReplyDeleteI have an IKEA couch/sofa and we love it..The thing I love the most is that the all the covers, cushions(bottom and back) and frame cover come off for washing...it is well built and you can order new covers for a new look whenever you want! We bought ours for 125.00 at a thrift store and it looked like it had never been sit on...I am thinking it was a display or something...The downfall is that it is white and living on a farm, well you understand...I just keep a pretty quilt over it most of the time...I need to order new covers in a color that works better for us!
