Daybook

For today...it is sunny, cool and breezy, we are loving this cooler weather.

I am thinking...that I don't deserve all the blessings the Lord has given me

I am thankful for...ALL of the blessings

From the learning rooms...Algebra, language, Biology, US History

From the kitchen...barbeque chicken in the crockpot, corn on the cob, green beans

I am wearing...khaki skirt, white t shirt, slip on tennis

I am creating...less of a mess. I am attempting to clean up my piles that accumulated when we were getting ready for the State Fair, now we get ready for the holidays

I am going...to be still and know that He is God.

I am reading.."Raising Godly Children in an Ungodly World" by Ken & Steve Ham (got this book at the Creation Museum) and "Living with Confidence in a Chaotic World" by Dr. David Jeremiah (my new book to review from BookSneeze)

I am hoping...to see lots of ribbons when we go to the Fair to look at the exhibits ~ between Katie, Amy, Will and I we entered about 80 items

I am hearing...chairs sliding on the kitchen floor, doggie paws on the wood floor, pencils scratching on math problems

Around the house...lots of activity as always

One of my favorite things...snuggling under the quilt when it gets chilly

A few things for the rest of the week...sewing, co-op, dance classes, fair, and The Family Driven Faith Conference this weekend. I am excited to hear Voddie Bauchum in person.

Welcome to the farm ~ we are a blended family with 7 children (3 are married), 4 grandsons, 5 dogs, 3 rabbits, and 15 chickens living on 3 acres in Georgia. I love crafting, sewing, cooking & canning, recipes of all kinds, reading, playing with my little buddies, family time, travel, pinterest and most of all the Lord.
