Our prayers this afternoon are for Officer Mike Walter's family and the Pearl Police Department. In today's world where we watch TV crime drama and shoot outs; we have become desensitized to the horror these men and women have to face. Officer Walter lost his life today serving a warrant. I know as citizens we gripe and complain about speeding tickets and parking infractions. It makes you think when a man puts his life on the line and gives it for others safety about the shoddy way we disrespect police most of the time.
Lord, please bless the Pearl Police family and walk with them through this time of loss.

Welcome to the farm ~ we are a blended family with 7 children (3 are married), 4 grandsons, 5 dogs, 3 rabbits, and 15 chickens living on 3 acres in Georgia. I love crafting, sewing, cooking & canning, recipes of all kinds, reading, playing with my little buddies, family time, travel, pinterest and most of all the Lord.

Will be praying for Officer Walker's family today. It angers me when kids call them "cops". It sounds so disrespectful. Police Officer! There is so much danger out there these days. Praying too for the entire force as they have lost a coworker. That must be very hard.
