Daybook



For Today....

Outside my window ~ cool, sunny right now, supposed to rain again later

I am thinking ~ about the future

I am thankful for ~ Greg's continued healing from strep & pneumonia

From the learning rooms ~ schoolwork

From the kitchen ~ chili & cornbread for dinner tonight

I am wearing ~ denim skirt, Haiti mission trip shirt

I am creating ~ embroidered quilt top, baby rag quilt to sell, more pinwheels

I am going ~ to enjoy each day

I am reading ~ in the New Testament finishing John & starting Acts, The Long Winter by Laura Ingalls Wilder

I am hearing ~ cars driving, fingers typing, floors creaking

I am  hoping praying ~ for Mission opportunities and thankful for the Lord allowing us to join in His work

Around the house ~ lots of crafts, recovering chair seats, and the usual ~~~cooking, cleaning, laundry, playing with puppies, reading, shopping, couponing, etc.

One of my favorite things ~ sweet hugs from Alston, Ragen, Sara, & Lauren

A few things for the rest of the week ~ bible study, crafting, dinner with Tapleys, finishing projects, and my Allen turns 23 this week on the 23rd!

    thank you for sharing this great quilting link! I am thinking I will make these blocks and make pillows out of them. I would love to learn to quilt but I just don't have the time right now. I am learning to sew, maybe that will help me to learn to quilt someday!
