Welcome to the farm ~ we are a blended family with 7 children (3 are married), 4 grandsons, 5 dogs, 3 rabbits, and 15 chickens living on 3 acres in Georgia. I love crafting, sewing, cooking & canning, recipes of all kinds, reading, playing with my little buddies, family time, travel, pinterest and most of all the Lord.
I love all of these but I am going to have to make some of those pan holders. What a great idea. I need to make some more pot holders anyway!
ReplyDeleteWow, you are so busy! Just a quick trip to the library to say hello. We're still hiking across the 40 acres to get to the 4-wheel outfit, so I'm not getting out much! Your sewing looks lovely. I made a pinwheel quilt when my oldest son married. I was (am) so proud of it. I am wishing that I had an embroidery machine - such cute projects!
ReplyDeleteI had such great plans for my day off work yesterday. Some how things never go as planned. Two of my three kids that were home from school were sick, grandma's hearing test didn't go as planned, and hubby started painting what will be grandmas room when she moves in this spring... I stayed rather busy with the running of the home instead of doing crafty things. Someday I will get a chance to do the things like this. Thanks for sharing, I really like those cast iron handle holders! Great idea!
ReplyDeleteHey Trixi, I found these thick terry potholders at the Dollar Tree in a pack of 2! All I did was fold them in half, sew down one side and across the bottom ~ easy and cheap!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathleen ~ y'all stay safe ~ being home and accomplishing stuff is fun!
Monica ~ cherish your grandma time! My MaMa died 11 years ago and I miss her ~ I could definitley use her crochet advice and ability!
I love the jumpers for the twins ... I think you need to initial all their clothes!
ReplyDeleteI also love the purple pinwheel ... makes me wish I could learn to sew/quilt ... guess I'll have to stick with crocheting for the time being!
I love the covers for the handles on the pans. But, I have a question for you regarding your glass top stove...DO you have good luck using the cast iron on it? Or, do you use them on other surfaces? Thanks, Melissa
ReplyDeleteWow! You are a lightning bug of speed and efficiency. Can we clone you? I LOVE the cast iron pan handle covers, the initial embroidered jumpers for the twins AND that adorable tractor jumper. I am going to have to get cracking on some flying geese, like you are going to town with those pinwheels... Thank you so much for sharing and for linking up to the UFO Roll Call Blog Hop!
